My Sat Night~
Cooling Night
Should add more daily stuffs in my blog content ---> feedback from mutton
So here I am writing about my sat night outing. I really enjoy it very much, it's a stress-reliever from the piles of sch wrk, an escape from the backbreaking office work. Haa..
As usual was late again, Eclipse's repeated reminders of being punctual fell on deaf ears. ( But pls dun blame me cos I got valid reason for being late.)
We had a really heavy lunch, was startled when the dishes keep swarming onto our table till it filled up almost every inch of our table.Haa..we had also chatted for quite a long while, as our glasses of cold water had been refilled countless of times.
After an excruciating brainstorm for what we are going to do after our lunch, we actually doesnt left with much choices. Kbox seems to be more appealing than the others. Though singing is not my forte but I have enjoyed it much better than before. Haa.. The Kbox in Marina Square seems to have much more bigger rooms than the other outlets, more space allowance, more facilities like pool table included in some rooms. ( Hmm.. shd i hold my bday party there?? haa..)
Later the night, we strolled from Marina Square to the Merlion. It is my third visit to the Merlion. The Merlion is still spouting water as before, the water still looked as ominous as before as if a creature is lurking underwater. But I still like the cold sea breeze and the beautifully night scene...I think everyones would agree that it is a great place for romance...
Speaking of the Merlion, my lecturer from my geography module that I'm currently taking this sem, asked us to think of a national symbol. The first thing that came to my mind is The Merlion. It had left a deep impression in my mind esp after reading the poem of The Merlion, esp the 2 sentences lighted in bold. It ryhmes pretty well.
Frozen in time yet spouting
the water of life -
a nation's dreams made you a myth
a nation's fears turned you to stone
I wish to believe in you
I wish my daughters' daughters
a century from hence would listen to tales of the lionfish
that no one has ever seen
And in time, you will
Emerge from your depths -
A vision to behold
Roaring into the future
Ferocious, strong, slipping
into a collective's unconsciousness .... By Grace Chia
Many voted for the Merlion, but there is also some interesting votes that go to Lee K.Y, HDB flats, esplanade...So What is ur national symbol?

Marriage at 21??
Weather: WarmIt's every woman's dream to put on the white gown, holding a bunch of flowers, walking down the aisle with her arms wrapping around her Mr Right. But this statement doesn't seem apt in describing recent trends of unique marriage ceremonies, such as an underwater world ceremony? Haa.. but anyway this is not my pt.
Who said Singaporeans marry late?
Who said marriage is a graveyard??
Who said early marriages will end up in divorces???
...........................
After hearing a friend's cousin, who is at the same age as me, is getting married soon, I'm quite surprised in their decision. The first thing that came to my mind -- shotgun?? Haa.. but nope. Some may not have the choice to marry early. But for some, it is a form of security to them, esp women. However, it makes me wonder what form of security is there in marriage?? Esp at such prime age (21) ?? Is there insurance for love? For marriage?? No doubt. There is none for all these. It's the word "trust & commitment" that keeps it going & working.
Marriage at 21?? That has been my wish some years back when the reality of life has not set in. My wish of being a virtuous housewife ( dun laugh at me pls >.<) has gradually changed as I cant imagine myself being the typical housewife that most drama series depict. Soon I'll be cut off from the society n live like a frog in the well. Haa..
I'm still not fullly prepared to take this route yet as there is still lots more things that I need to learn to become an independent woman, a knowlegable student, a filial daughter, a virtuous wife
and a caring mother... =D

A " Pleasant" Morning
Weather : Pleasant
The weather was pleasant this morning but not my mood. Had a lecture this morning at 8 but here I am in library writing my blog.=P Drove to school today but was still late by half an hour. >.<>
My greatest fear had happened again. The journey to school wasnt as pleasant as the morning sun. Had a jittery ride...
Firstly, the car mounted the curb when was driving out of my block. =( I become edgy when my sis was rushing me to turn out. No time to check the condition of the car when I handed it over to her in school. ( Hope it is not hurt =( )
Secondly, due to slow traffic condition, we changed our route and turned in to a winding road. I was again lectured when I was overtaken by a few cars behind me. I dun think I'm in a wrong to drive at a comfortable speed as I'm still not capable of driving fast in a road that has twists & turns. Haa.. However, could still hear things swinging left n right in the back seats whenever I made a turn. -.-~
Guess I'm still not very confident in driving in the new car after that scraping incident. I become tense whenever I tried to drive her...

Past & Present
Rainy
Had a hard time logging into my blog using my sis's laptop these few days. Dont know why the wireless internet keep giving me troubles. But still it didnt deter me from writing my blog... Haa..
I'm in school now surfing the nets, checking my email & writing my blog during my break.Haa.. What a good way to spend my 2- hours break!
Now that another new term has started, 'busy' will be the word for most students, but for me, is an escape from working. I found that it is really not easy to juggle between schwork & working.
I guess it is really how u choose to spend your time. It is either spending it wisely or wasting it away. It's possible to juggle between these 2 well if only u manage ur time wisely. But that also means u may have to sacrifice/reduce ur time spent in other areas like recreation, spending time with your family & friends, and most importantly sleeping. =p
I can no longer take my afternoon nap when I returned home from sch, just like I did throughout my pri, sec & JC days...
However, life has been much more fulfilling with all these factors...
I prefer morning lessons & enjoy starting work early in the morning. That is when I'm most energetic & refreshed! That's also when I'm most motivated to work harder & faster. Haha..

6th Day of 2007
A Starless Night
My Post silly?? Difficult to Understand?? ---> feedback from mutton
My bad day had not ended in the office, instead it has continued to pester me till the next day.
Didnt I say I hope to have a smooth- sailing night? It didnt turn out the way that I hope for.
It had been ruined by the nailart that costed me 20 bucks. I was too excited over the new technology of using computer to print the art on our fingernails that I not only mistaken the price but also the services that they provided. In the end, I choose a wrong design on my fingernails. =(
How does this technology do nailart?
Actually it was pretty simple, U just need the software n a "printer" to do the work.
There is a wide range of beautiful designs to choose from, but not all will turn out well, just like the cartoons on my fingernails. =(
I think Japan has already launched this new tech. (Singapore is still abit slow)
Although it is fast n easy, it is not able to capture all the surface of the fingernails. It can only printed well on flat fingernails but not mine ( cos mine is too curved?)
The services that they provided is limited too.. They didnt file n shape my ugly & irregular fingernails, which made me feel that it was not worth doing it at all...
Had a quarrel with my sis this morning n yesterday morning before going work...
Suppose to wait for my aunt & uncle to drive us to work but we were late. So they went off without us. She blamed me for not telling her to go down to the lobby. But I did. I kept my cool till she blamed me for the second time for walking too fast n leaving her behind. So we crashed out on the roadside while waiting to cross the traffic. In the end, with anger fuming inside us, we took separate routes.. I took the train while she drove to office.
It was actually quite silly when I recalled back during my boring train ride. I wanted to avoid further arguments with her, that why I walked faster. But she misunderstood it. Haa.. But this cold war didnt last long. =D After all, she is still my dear sis, except that she can be stubborn & hot-tempered at times. =P

Starting anew
Today : Cloudy
The weather is unpredictable, just like my mood...
Due to overwhelming popularity of blog, I decided to create a third blog.
The first one has not been vv successful.
The 2nd one is inactive at this moment, due to its easy access by ppl whom I'm not willing to reveal too much of myself. Therefore, I have decided to launch a third one. =D
And partly becos of the great influence ard me, it has re- ignited my interest of writting one.
Aya Ikeuchi from "1 litre of tears" ( A Jap touching Drama) lives her life couragously by penning her thoughts in her diary. This is the only thing that she can do after she has contracted a terminal disease. Slowly, she lost all her functions like walking, talking & writting one by one...
However, she never gave up on writting her diary. She hopes she can encourage others to live on meaningfully...
Though my purpose of writting a blog is not as great as her, I hope to pen down watever that happens now, so that when i read through it again. It will incur a diff feeling. It is also a way to keep my memory intact...
A lot of things screwed up in office today.
First, our delivery to customer was delayed.
Second, someone vent his anger on us, though is partly our fault too.
Third, my sis threaten to tell my aunt tt I'm doing other things other than work. ( Hoho..)
Suppose to keep this short... ( cos still at work, but my internet at home couldnt work that why I cant wait to post.)
Hope that the tonight will be smooth-sailing... =D
